These courses enable you to work towards a range of internationally recognised Cambridge ESOL qualifications at 3 levels, from Upper Intermediate to Proficiency. This course is studied either full time (15 hours a week) or part time (3-9 hours per week) in combination with an EFL General English course.

About the course
These courses are full time (15 hours a week) and run for 4 terms per academic year, these start in September,January, March and June. Each term is between 10-12 weeks. The end of each term leads up to the Cambridge ESOL exams and students can arrange their study periods to suit their needs and can join the course on any Monday. Students who want to study for the exams part time have to be enrolled onto a full time course e.g. General English. You will be expected to buy a course book for this course which will cost approximately £15-25, and you will need to pay an exam fee of approx £90-£100, depending on the level.
Your tuition fee includes supplementary teaching materials, student handbook, use of internet facilities, and student ID card.

The course levels are as follows:
Upper Immediate – First Certificate in English (FCE). This course is ideal if you can deal confidently with a range of written and spoken communications.
Advanced Level – Certificate in Advanced English (CAE). This course is for students who can communicate with confidence in English for work or study purposes.
Very Advanced Level: Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE). This course is for students who have achieved a high level of language skills and are able to function effectively in almost any English-speaking context.
How will I be assessed?
You will sit the appropriate Cambridge ESOL exam for your level of English: Upper Immediate (FCE), Advanced Level (CAE), or Very Advanced Level (CPE).
