Initially, most foreign students find studying at a British University difficult to cope with due to the difference in style of teaching compared to their country of origin. The teaching team at our English School in London has designed an English for Academic Purposes course to enable students to make progress quickly, and effectively adjust to the new ways of teaching. On this English Course we ensure that students adjust accordingly to meet the requirements of their new environment in the UK University system.

Students will need to have attained an IELTS score of 5.0 or above
About the course
This English course offers 15 hours of tuition per week, divided into General English and Academic Preparation – focusing on improving students’ general study skills. The English course content includes: attending lectures, note taking, academic essay writing, research skills and group presentation skills.
The English for Academic Purposes is available throughout the summer and designed for students preparing for University entry in autumn. This English course is a summer course and starts in July to August for a period of 12 weeks. Students can start on any Monday.
Your tuition fee includes supplementary teaching materials, student handbook, use of internet facilities, and student ID card.
