The UK Government\'s inspectorate for skills and employment known as the Adult Learning Inspectorate awarded our organization a grade 1 - ?outstanding? - for its Preparation for Life and Work programme in November 2004. Their report stated that: ?the overall effectiveness of the provision is outstanding. Leadership and management and provision in preparation for life and work are outstanding. The auditor concluded:

Home - Student Welfare - Mentor Support

Mentor Support

The mentor support adds immense value to the whole programme. All pupils will have native-English speaking personal mentors, who will work closely with them to ensure that they successfully complete the programme. The pupils will be able to raise any issues of concern with their personal mentor. Interaction with the mentor will increase the pupils' confidence in spoken English. The mentor will also supervise the pupils in their accommodation in the evenings. The mentor-pupil ratio is one to twelve.
