Your peace of mind is important to us; this is why our residential summer school is run in a safe and secure environment, regulated by Governing Bodies. Situated in a village called Oadby away from the hustle and bustle of a busy city, your child can have a happy and fun summer holiday in complete safety. Located in the rural Leicestershire which is full of space and natural greenery children will enjoy the different environment which they came from.

We are registered and regularly inspected by local authorities, the British Council and Sports Leaders UK. We have to maintain very strict fire and safety regulations, child protection and behavior management. ELAS UK does regular risk assessments for all activities and if any major risks are found before or during an activity it is terminated.

ELAS UK fully complies with the provisions of the 1989 Children Act that imposes strict regulations for staff to child ratios, staff qualifications and types of equipment used. Our staff are trained in a number of safety procedures including; first aid, expedition leadership, contingency planning, emergency communication plan, off-trip policies and procedures and many more. Our safety procedures are evaluated on an on-going basis.

Needless to say all staff at ELAS UK have been cleared through the Criminal Records Bureau and two references have been obtained as to their suitability to be part of our team and work with children. ELAS UK has a trained child protection officer as part of their team.
